A fatal crash has occurred, blocking traffic in the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 Thursday morning. The incident took place near mile marker 106, northeast of Las Vegas and approximately 11 miles south of Mesquite, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash, involving a sedan and a commercial truck, was reported at approximately 6:49 a.m. One man has been confirmed dead at the scene, while a second man has been transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The roadway is currently closed with no specified reopening time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
