KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A UTV crash on Starfire Haul Road in Knott County on Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of 43-year-old Michael Miller.
According to the Kentucky State Police (KSP), Miller was operating the UTV when he lost control and the vehicle overturned. KSP reported that Miller was ejected from the UTV and suffered fatal injuries.
The Knott County Coroner's Office pronounced Miller dead at the scene. Investigators indicated that neither a seat belt nor a helmet was in use at the time of the incident.
The crash is currently under investigation, and an autopsy has been scheduled.
