Crash in Selbyville Claims Life of Frankford Man

Selbyville, DE — A 56-year-old Frankford man died early May 20 after his motorcycle crashed into a traffic barrier on Lighthouse Road, according to Delaware State Police.

Robert Riden was traveling east on a Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle around 1:20 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a slight left curve. The motorcycle went off the road and struck a concrete and metal barrier.

Authorities reported Riden was not wearing a helmet and was from the motorcycle. He was at the scene.
