Motorcyclist dies in Thornton crash; speed suspected as factor.

THORNTON, Colo. — A motorcycle crash Saturday night resulted in the death of a 37-year-old man, according to authorities. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of E. 104th Avenue and Fox Run Parkway.

The rider lost control of his motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor.

Authorities are seeking information on a black SUV that may have played a role in the accident and encourage witnesses to come forward. The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld until the Adams County Coroner's Office can make a formal identification and notify next of kin.
