COLUMBUS, Ohio — A deadly two-vehicle crash closed I-270 near Tuttle early Wednesday after a car struck a slowing semi.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the semi-truck was slowing for stopped traffic when a car crashed into the back of it just after 1:45 a.m.
Authorities said the car's driver was transported to OSU Main in critical condition and died about two hours later. The person's identity has not been released.
Deputies said the semi driver was not hurt. No other injuries were reported.
I-270 near Tuttle remained closed as investigators processed the scene. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said the crash remains under investigation.
