MEMPHIS, TN — John Mark Byers, 62, passed away in a car crash on Thursday near Memphis.
According to KAIT TV, Byers was the stepfather of Christopher Byers, one of three boys murdered in the West Memphis Three case in 1993. His funeral notice confirmed his age.
