Motorcycle Crash in Metro Vancouver Leaves Rider Injured
Metro Vancouver, British Columbia—A motorcycle crash involving a car occurred Saturday afternoon, leaving the rider seriously injured, according to authorities.
The Delta Police Department responded to reports of the incident at approximately 2:41 p.m. Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor, police stated. The crash resulted in the motorcycle being left hanging off a traffic light.
The motorcycle rider, whose age has not been disclosed, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The vehicle's driver did not report any injuries.
Emergency response teams were on the scene to manage the situation, and lane closures were implemented to allow for an investigation and the removal of the vehicles involved.
