Tuscaloosa Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash
A 22-year-old man from Tuscaloosa died in a single-vehicle crash on June 21, approximately six miles east of the city, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
Marcos Morales was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 on Keenes Mill Road near Hurricane Road around 11 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway. The truck struck an embankment and collided with a tree, subsequently catching fire. Authorities reported that Morales was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers indicated that Morales was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The Highway Patrol Division of ALEA is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
