TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL – Two Texas residents died in a single-vehicle crash on May 5, according to authorities.
The victims, identified as Jerry C. Ketterer, 71, and Marci A. Ketterer, 68, were traveling on Alabama Highway 69 near mile marker 66 when the incident occurred around 2:41 p.m.
Emergency responders from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office and Alabama State Troopers arrived at the scene shortly after the accident. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The vehicle was reportedly removed from the roadway, and there were no additional injuries reported. Officials expect the investigation to conclude within the week.
