A 20-year-old man from Columbia died following a single-vehicle crash in Audrain County on Sunday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred at 5:43 a.m. on Audrain County Road 234.
According to the crash report, the driver veered off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and collided with a tree and guardrail before overturning.
Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
The highway was temporarily closed for investigation and recovery efforts.
