Driver Indicted on Felony Charges in I-71 Chain-Reaction Crash That Killed a Family

DELAWARE COUNTY, Ohio — A driver has been indicted after a Saturday crash on Interstate 71 killed three family members.

Authorities said a Delaware County grand jury indicted Modou Ngom on 3 counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and 4 counts of vehicular assault.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ngom failed to slow for stopped traffic on I-71 on Saturday.

Lynnea Soposki, her husband, Luke, and their 1-year-old son, Logan, died in the crash. Authorities said three other people were injured.

Authorities said all the charges are felonies.
