OKLAHOMA CITY – Two Oklahoma City police officers sustained minor injuries Tuesday night following a pursuit that ended in a crash near Interstate 240 and Santa Fe Avenue.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD), the incident began during a traffic stop at Southwest 44th Street and Walker Avenue. Officers discovered drugs in the suspect's vehicle and requested the driver to exit. The suspect fled the scene, prompting a brief pursuit.

Authorities reported that officers executed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) maneuver near I-240 and Santa Fe to halt the fleeing vehicle. The suspect subsequently collided head-on with a patrol , resulting in minor injuries to the two officers. Fire and EMSA were dispatched to assess their condition.

The suspect was taken into custody, and officials also confirmed damage to a second patrol vehicle during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
