West of Columbus, Ohio, all westbound lanes of Interstate 70 reopened shortly after 9 a.m. April 10 following a crash during the morning commute.
I-70 westbound was closed from State Route 142 to Hilliard-Rome Road at about 8 a.m., according to the Ohio Department of Transportation's live traffic map.
At 8:30 a.m., an Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatcher said the left lane had reopened while crews awaited a tow truck to remove a vehicle from the right lane.
Authorities said the crash involved multiple vehicles. No patients were transported by medics, and injuries had not been confirmed.
