BEDFORD, New Hampshire — Comedian Eugene Mirman, voice of “Gene Belcher” on Bob's Burgers, was hospitalized after a serious crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza on Tuesday.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, Mirman's vehicle collided with part of the toll plaza and caught fire, trapping him inside. A trooper on the governor's security detail rescued Mirman through a window.
Mirman sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash is under investigation, and no further details have been released regarding possible lane closures or additional vehicles involved.
