STURGIS, S.D. — At approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, a Sturgis Police Department pursuit of a 2021 Harley-Davidson ended in a crash. The motorcycle, alleged to be driven recklessly, veered off U.S. Highway 14A, leaving the non-helmeted driver with serious injuries. The individual was transported by helicopter to Monument Health.
