MADISON (WKOW) — A woman was hospitalized following a crash involving a dump truck on the westbound Beltline Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. between Rimrock Road and Park Street, according to the Madison Police Department. The woman was reportedly thrown from her vehicle and transported to a local hospital; however, her current condition remains unconfirmed.
Authorities stated that the driver of the dump truck did not sustain any injuries.
Following the crash, part of the westbound Beltline was closed to facilitate emergency response but has since reopened to traffic. An investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
