FENTON, Ill. — An 81-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash on Friday afternoon.
At approximately 4:15 p.m., Whiteside County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of Fenton Road and Black Road.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered an SUV overturned in a ditch. The driver, identified as Senietta Porter of Morrison, was extricated from the vehicle by deputies and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel.
Porter was transported to a local hospital and subsequently airlifted to a trauma center with serious injuries. Authorities have not provided updates on her condition.
The incident is under investigation. No further details regarding road closures or vehicle towing have been disclosed.
