INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 5, 2023) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) released bodycam footage Thursday of an officer rescuing a man from a burning vehicle.
The incident occurred on January 10 on Keystone Avenue, where the truck had crashed into a tree and caught fire. According to authorities, officers quickly extracted the injured man from the vehicle.
He was treated for injuries and has since survived the incident. IMPD commended its officers for their bravery and swift actions during the rescue.
