BRANDON, Miss. — On Sunday, January 22, at approximately 1 p.m., Rankin County deputies, fire, and EMS responded to a one-car crash on Monterey Road.
First responders found 19-year-old Collin Avery Knight ejected from his pickup truck after it rolled multiple times. He was subsequently flown to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
The Rankin County Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. No additional information regarding the crash, including lane closures or other vehicles involved, has been released at this time.
