Tiger Woods Arrested for DUI Following Crash in Florida

JUPITER ISLAND, FL — Tiger Woods was arrested for driving under the influence after a crash involving his and a truck on Friday afternoon.

Authorities reported that Woods, 50, struck the rear of a trailer attached to a truck driven by 43-year-old Jeromy Bullard. Witnesses stated that Woods' Land Rover appeared to be traveling at high speeds when he collided with the trailer as Bullard was turning into a driveway.

At the scene, Woods exited the through the window. Deputies observed signs of impairment, including bloodshot eyes and lethargic movements. According to the incident report, Woods admitted to looking at his cellphone before the collision and indicated he had been coming from his residence.

Two pills identified as hydrocodone, a prescription pain reliever, were found in Woods' pocket. He denied consuming alcohol but stated he had taken medication earlier that morning. A breath test was conducted, but Woods refused a urine test.

The crash caused approximately $5,000 in damage to the truck. Bullard was not and reported no serious injuries. A spokesperson for the Martin County Sheriff's Office confirmed that lane closures were implemented during the investigation, which is ongoing.

Woods' attorney, Douglas Duncan, filed a notice of not guilty on behalf of Woods during his arraignment. This incident marks Woods' second DUI-related charge; his first occurred in 2017.
