LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A motorcyclist died Sunday in a crash on State Route 167 at mile marker 16, according to the Nevada State Police.
Nicholas Sean Miller, 44, was riding a red Ducati Panigale northbound when he lost control while navigating a curve and veered into a desert area. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol's Major Incident Reconstruction team is conducting the investigation.
This marks the 17th fatal crash in the area this year, resulting in 20 fatalities, authorities said.
