Janesville Man Killed in Rock County Vehicle Crash.

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. — A 27-year-old man died in a crash early Friday on US Route 14.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., the Rock County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash near South Scharine Road in the Town of Bradford. They were joined by Janesville Police and Fire, Clinton Police and Fire, the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, and the Rock County Highway Department.

Authorities reported the driver lost control of an eastbound , resulting in the vehicle leaving the roadway and entering a ditch. The driver, identified as Jose Bajan Xinico of Janesville, was from the during the crash.

Despite the efforts of first responders, Xinico was at the scene. A forensic examination conducted by the Rock County Medical Examiner's Department confirmed that he died from crash-related injuries.

According to the Rock County Sheriff's Office, they do not suspect any criminal activity related to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
