NORFOLK, Va. — A crash involving a single vehicle led to a car being recovered from the Lafayette River Thursday morning, according to Norfolk Police.
At approximately 5:47 a.m., officers responded to the incident in the 800 block of Jamestown Crescent. Witnesses reported the vehicle plunged into the water following the crash.
Emergency response teams assisted at the scene, but no injuries have been confirmed. Norfolk Police stated that “charges are pending the outcome” of the investigation.
