BANGOR, ME—A bicyclist suffered serious injuries during a collision with a motor vehicle on Burleigh Road Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. near the intersection with Bomarc Road, according to Bangor Police.
Authorities reported that the bicyclist was maneuvering around a vehicle that had pulled over when the collision took place.
The injured bicyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The motor vehicle operator was unharmed and is cooperating with law enforcement.
As of Monday afternoon, police have not released the identities of those involved and have not filed any charges related to the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
