GLENDALE, Ariz. – Authorities reported a non-injury rollover crash on Loop 101 near 75th Avenue, followed by a fatal collision, late Saturday night.
The first crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m., involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported, according to the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
A second crash occurred nearby at 67th Avenue, resulting in at least one fatality. Witnesses reported multiple individuals fleeing the scene.
DPS stated that one suspect has been taken into custody, and impairment may be a contributing factor. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Emergency response units are on site managing traffic and aiding those involved. Lane closures are expected while the investigation proceeds.
