FARGO — A second passenger has died following a fatal crash in North Fargo early Sunday, Oct. 26.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Arlentin Arcoren, 31, of Aberdeen, South Dakota, succumbed to his injuries on Oct. 28. He was initially reported to have life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sanford Medical Center for treatment.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. when the 2012 Dodge Journey, traveling north on 10th Street North, lost control, struck a parked car, and collided with a large tree, the patrol reported. Holden Lee, 18, of Fargo, was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control after crossing 12th Avenue North.
Lee sustained injuries and was also transported to Sanford Medical Center. Passenger Juma Uredi, 23, of Fargo, died at the scene. Possible criminal charges against Lee are pending as the investigation continues.
