Two-Vehicle Bus Crash at Kenwood Middle School Leaves Multiple Injured
KENT, WA — A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus occurred outside Kenwood Middle School at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities reported that the bus, carrying students, collided with a sedan. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported several individuals to local hospitals. The number of injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Witnesses reported seeing the bus making a left turn when the incident occurred.
In response to the collision, both lanes of SE 240th Street near the school were temporarily closed, causing traffic delays.
