WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A 16-vehicle crash on I-75 northbound caused lane closures Monday afternoon, but the roadway has since reopened.
According to Kentucky State Police, the incident occurred between Exit 25 and Exit 29, forcing a shutdown of all northbound lanes for several hours. Authorities reported multiple injuries as a result of the collision; however, specific details about the severity have not been confirmed.
Emergency response included the Kentucky State Police, Corbin Police Department, Corbin Fire Department, and Whitley County EMS, all of whom provided immediate medical aid and assistance on the scene.
