A serious injury crash occurred on Interstate 40 westbound near South Hartmann Drive, mile-marker 236, in Lebanon on March 20.
The incident was reported at approximately 7:30 a.m., leading to traffic being diverted at the South Hartmann Drive exit, according to Lebanon Police.
Westbound lanes of I-40 were reopened around 9:20 a.m., as confirmed by police.
The crash involved multiple vehicles, resulting in three individuals being transported to local hospitals, according to the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency. The conditions of those transported have not been disclosed.
Emergency response teams from the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Lebanon Police Department were present at the scene. The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct the investigation.
