Motorcyclist Dies Following Crash on Highway 21 Near Lucky Peak
ADA COUNTY — A 21-year-old male, identified as Brandon Tschida of Meridian, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Highway 21 Saturday evening.
On March 21, at approximately 6:34 p.m., deputies from the Ada County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) and Boise Police responded to reports of a collision near milepost 11 on Highway 21. According to ACSO, Tschida was operating a 2024 Ducati Supersport motorcycle southbound when he crossed into northbound traffic, colliding with a 2005 Ford F-250.
Following the crash, Tschida was airlifted by Life Flight to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The highway was temporarily closed in both directions as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Authorities confirmed that the ACSO's Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the accident.
