Motorcyclist, 22, Dies in South Valley Crash
A 22-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision on Tuesday afternoon near Saint Rose Parkway and Jeffreys Street.
Metro Police reported the crash occurred at 4:03 p.m. when a 20-year-old driver turned left on a flashing yellow arrow, entering the motorcycle's path. The impact ejected the rider, who succumbed to his injuries at Sunrise Hospital.
Authorities confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and displayed no signs of impairment. This incident marks the 34th traffic fatality in Metro's jurisdiction in 2023.
