CASPER, Wyo. (WKRC) — A missing 30-year-old woman was found dead in a vehicle that left the road in Natrona County on Sunday morning.
Authorities responded to Casper Mountain Road at 9:20 a.m. after reports of a vehicle that had crashed through a guardrail. The sole occupant, identified as Kandice Gunter, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Casper Police Department.
Gunter had been reported missing on October 29 after failing to pick up her children, ages 9 and 6, from the Boys & Girls Club. Witnesses reported her absence as unusual; her sister expressed concerns about her well-being, noting that Gunter was a responsible parent.
The Natrona County Coroner's Office is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash and Gunter's cause of death. Authorities stated there is currently no evidence of foul play or other individuals involved in the incident.
Gunter had relocated to Casper from Nevada approximately one month prior to her disappearance. The investigation remains ongoing.
