Two pedestrians were struck by a pickup on State Route 93 in Wellston at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty driven by a 69-year-old man hit the pedestrians.
Troopers said the pedestrians were 36-year-old Haley Coon and an 11-year-old. The child was flown by MedFlight to Cabell Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the OSHP.
Coon refused medical treatment at the scene, authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
