Cranston Crash Involving E-Bike and Vehicle
CRANSTON, R.I. — Authorities responded to a crash involving an electric bike and a motor vehicle on Saturday. The incident occurred in Cranston, with police arriving shortly after reports were received.
At the scene, police took the e-bike's operator into custody. Witnesses indicated that the man, who was bleeding from the head, might have sustained significant injuries. A bystander stated that he appeared to have been struck forcefully.
When NBC 10 arrived, the e-bike operator was reportedly alert and able to walk and talk. A vehicle involved in the crash was not present at the scene.
According to the operator's mother, there may have been a warrant issued for his arrest due to a missed court date.
