PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A local mother has taken in three children left without basic necessities as their mother faces child neglect charges, according to authorities.
Jasmine Young, a mother of five, opened her home to the girls, who were reportedly found without food, power, or water. The children's mother is currently facing legal action for neglect.
Authorities said the girls are now safe and receiving care. Young expressed her concern for the children's well-being and emphasized the importance of providing a stable environment during this challenging time.
“We just want to ensure they feel loved and supported,” Young stated.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the neglect are ongoing, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
