LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A crash early Sunday morning in North Las Vegas resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
At approximately 12:02 a.m., police responded to Cheyenne Avenue and Revere Street following reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. According to authorities, a 2019 black Volkswagen, driven by a woman in her 40s, was traveling westbound on Cheyenne Avenue in the third travel lane.
A man in his 40s was crossing Cheyenne Avenue northbound between Trade Drive and Revere Street outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by the Volkswagen. The man sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators reported that the driver did not exhibit any signs of impairment. The incident remains under investigation.
