A 15-year-old girl from Conway, Mo., died in a UTV crash in Laclede County on Friday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 2:10 p.m. on private property off Highway C, south of Lebanon.
According to the crash report, the girl was operating a 2014 Polaris Ranger 570 EFI when she excessively accelerated from a stopped position, resulting in the vehicle overturning.
The juvenile was ejected from the UTV and was pronounced dead at the scene. MSHP confirmed she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Emergency personnel were dispatched, but the investigation is ongoing.
