INDEPENDENCE, MO — Early Sunday morning, a police SUV struck an Audi on U.S. 24, resulting in the death of the Audi driver. The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 a.m.
Authorities said the driver of the Audi, aged 34, succumbed to injuries on the scene. The police department confirmed that the officer was not injured during the collision.
