LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck in northeast Las Vegas on Thursday morning, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Alto Avenue and Marion Drive, near Nellis Boulevard and Carey Avenue, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD).
Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Authorities reported no suspicion of impairment on the part of the driver, but an investigation is ongoing.
