COLUMBUS, Ohio — A single-vehicle crash early Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, on Columbus' West Side sent one passenger to a hospital, authorities said.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called at 2:45 a.m. to Sullivant Avenue near Wrexham Avenue.
Investigators said an adult driving a GMC Denali westbound left the north side of the roadway and struck a street sign and a utility pole.
Authorities said the front-seat passenger sustained a broken right leg and was transported to Grant Medical Center.
Police said the driver is being processed for OVI.
The Columbus Division of Police said the investigation is ongoing.
