One person killed in three-vehicle crash in Polk County
BONDURANT, Iowa — One person died following a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon at NE 56th Street and NE 94th Avenue, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the incident around 4 p.m. Four individuals were transported to local hospitals, with one initially reported in critical condition.
Authorities later confirmed one fatality; the identity of the deceased will be disclosed after notification of family members.
The roadway has since reopened, and traffic flow has returned to normal. The crash remains under investigation.
