MSP: Serious injuries reported in I-84 crash, traffic diverted
STURBRIDGE, Mass. —
A two-car collision on Interstate 84 in Sturbridge resulted in multiple serious injuries on Tuesday afternoon, according to state police.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near the I-90 junction.
A medical helicopter was dispatched to transport victims; the exact number is currently unknown.
Traffic is being diverted onto Route 20 as authorities respond.
Worcester County detectives and State Police are investigating the crash.
