PAWNEE COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A 20-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Pawnee County.
At approximately 3:45 a.m. on September 26, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene near US-412, east of N. 312th W. Ave. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a witness reported that the vehicle was swerving and not maintaining its lane.
Investigators stated that the vehicle left the roadway, struck a cable barrier, and rolled over. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Ethan Ware, was ejected during the incident. Authorities confirmed that Ware succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
No additional injuries or other vehicles were involved. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, and the roadway was temporarily closed to assist emergency services.
