HARMONY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 38-year-old Columbus man died after an SUV struck him on I-71 northbound in Morrow County at 10:23 p.m. Thursday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Mount Gilead Post, the pedestrian was identified as Brandon Miller, 38.
Investigators said Miller was standing in the northbound lanes when a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Brandon Diguilio, 42, of North Ridgeville, hit him.
Authorities said Miller died at the scene. Diguilio remained at the scene and was not injured.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
