Man dies after crash on Indianapolis' northwest side.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 74-year-old man died on Sunday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on Lafayette Road.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident occurred on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at approximately 10:23 p.m. in the 9300 block of Lafayette Road, just north of West 86th Street near Traders Point.

Upon arrival, officers found two adult male drivers involved in the collision. Both were transported to the hospital; one was reported in stable condition, while the other, identified as Kenneth Stout, 74, was critically injured.

Stout succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, authorities confirmed. The incident remains under investigation, and a toxicology report is pending.
