KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — A crash at U.S. 31 North and State Road 26 resulted in the death of a 47-year-old man Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred just after 7:45 p.m. on the city's south side. According to the Howard County Coroner's Office, the victim was identified as Joshua Randall Rhoads of Indianapolis.
Authorities said Rhoads succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries, and his death has been ruled an accident. His family has been informed.
The Kokomo Police Department, along with the Indiana State Police and the Howard County Coroner's Office, is investigating the crash. Further details regarding the number and type of vehicles involved or any lane closures were not available.
