Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-40 East Injures Three
LITTLE ROCK, AR – A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 40 East near mile marker 145 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Wednesday, resulting in injuries to three individuals.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the incident involved five vehicles, including two semi-trucks. Emergency responders from the Little Rock Fire Department and local law enforcement were dispatched to the scene. Medical aid was provided on site, and all injured parties were transported to local hospitals.
Authorities confirmed that eastbound lanes of I-40 are closed for investigation and cleanup. Towing services are currently on the scene to assist with vehicle removal. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
