STAR, Idaho — A crash and construction caused significant delays during the morning commute on Highway 16 on Friday.
Both northbound lanes were closed near Floating Feather Road due to a jackknifed semi. Authorities reported that traffic cleared around 9:50 a.m.
Meanwhile, flaggers managed traffic at the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 44 as overnight rain hindered construction efforts. The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) stated road striping could not resume by 5 a.m. due to wet pavement conditions.
Motorists can find updated information on road closures and traffic conditions at Idaho 511.
