A driver was killed in a fiery crash shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday on West Bitters Road near Blanco Road in San Antonio.
According to police, a white SUV traveling at a high rate of speed hit a curb and an embankment, sending the vehicle airborne.
Authorities said the SUV crashed through a wooden fence, struck several vehicles, knocked down two covered parking structures, then rolled onto its side and caught fire.
The driver was found dead inside the vehicle. No other injuries were immediately reported, according to police.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
