Two injured, hundreds without power after crashes into telephone pole in Cumberland County.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. —

At approximately 7:25 p.m. on Monday, a crash occurred in the 200 block of West Main Street, Shiremanstown, according to dispatch reports.

Authorities confirmed that at least two vehicles were involved in the incident, with one striking a telephone pole.

Two individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital; the extent of their injuries remains unverified.

PPL reported that 473 residents were initially without power in the area following the crash, a number that has since decreased to 350. Power restoration is expected by 11:30 p.m., as indicated on PPL's website.
